pre-production
Pre-production was possibly the most important stage of production, as its where our idea was created and then developed. We used hardware, software and the internet to help research and further improve our idea.

HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE

I firstly used my iphone 13 Pro Max to communicate with group on Whatsapp, whereby we sent and received messages that helped us to develop our idea. We were further able to FaceTime and discuss our idea yet also take photos and videos of locations we could potentially use. I further used my phone to shoot the test shoot whereby I was abe to play around with the composition as well as practice the 180 degree rule as well as other skills we learnt during the camera workshops. During said workshops, I took notes on my phone as well as photos so that I was able to look back on them if I needed to.

During pre-production my laptop was crucial and helped me to research and develop our idea. First of al, I was able to research facts and topics to do with our sequence on google, and then write and publish blog posts surrounding my findings onto blogger. I chose to edit our sequence on my laptop as opposed to my phone as it was easier to sort and group the files, and the iMovie app on laptops has more features that I was able to use and play around with. Once the sequence was edited, I was then able to upload it onto YouTube from my laptop which was then easily sharable with my entire group. My laptop allowed me to access several apps which helped me to develop our idea and work efficiently individually and collaboratively, whereby we were able to make a shared time sheet on google docs, in order to make sure our shoot day ran smoothly and everyone knew what they were doing.
